It is clients like Shana and projects like this pink pony birthday party that make me immensely grateful to have the job I have. I have had the privilege of photographing Shana’s family for the past few years and have always been blown away by her creativity and attention to detail. Her vision, style and aesthetic eye are flawless and she and her family are a dream to work with. She recently decided to channel some of her creativity into a passion she already had for children’s party planning. She launched her Dallas, Texas, business, POMP, and creates whimsical, exquisite parties for little ones as well as offers children’s party furniture rental.
I was honored and excited when she asked me to work with her on photographing some of her events and the event details for multiple publications. Each of her projects has taken my breath away but the pink pony party was beyond any little girl’s wildest dreams. There are so many beautiful details to share that I will do them in two different posts. In this post are some of the detail images we shot before guests arrived.
I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Shana and POMP. She has incredible style and taste and has the enviable ability to turn the ordinary into extraordinary. Shana has become a dear, trusted friend and I couldn’t be happier for her hard-earned and well-deserved success.
