I had the privilege of photographing these darling twins when they were newborns and was honored to be able to capture them again recently when they turned one. Their parents are very close friends of ours and it’s so neat to see Cooper and Kensie’s individual personalities develop and how each of them resembles one of the parents so closely. Dad is an amazing chef and mom is an incredibly funny former drama teacher. They are both extremely talented, but more than anything, they are wonderful parents. The gratitude they feel for being blessed with these miracle babies is apparent and a joy to capture. There is no doubt Cooper and Kensie will grow up with fun and loving personalities and special talents of their own. Above all else though, they will grow up knowing how immensely they are loved.
We planned to get some pictures of the two of them each with a balloon for their birthday, but before we could even get started, we lost poor Cooper’s balloon. He coveted Kensie’s pink one for quite awhile before hers flew away too. It was heartbreaking but thankfully they both quickly recovered!
Thank you so much, W family, for traveling from Kansas City for these pictures. I adore all four of you and can’t wait to see you again! xoxo
